VENUS and URANUS 2000 x 1300

The VENUS and URANUS aluminim access towers are designed with single-flight stairways and platforms installed every 2,072 m, making them particularly adapted for use in industrial work and finish work.  Because no additional hardware is needed to install platforms, these towers are extremely easy to erect.  The platform height reaches 6,5 m outdoors and 10,7 m indoors.  In this case, "indoors" means that the scaffold is not exposed to strong winds.  If wind speeds exceed 45 km/h, the scaffold must be anchored.

The VENUS and URANUS mobile access towers consist of:

1. End-frames with slip resistant rungs (48,6 x 2,5 mm tubing) spaced 259 mm apart
2. Rails and diagonal braces that lock into place automatically
3. Ø 200 mm swivel casters with brake mounted on 500 mm steel screw jack
4. Adjustable outriggers that fasten to standards using steel clamps
5. Upper platform measuring 2 m long x 1,095 wide
6. Intermediate platform

Technical Description:

1. Maximum Platform Height: from 2,4 m to 14,9 m
   
2. Work Height: from 4,4 m to 16,9 m
3. Maximum Working Load: 200 kg/m2
4. Complies with European standard EN 1004.  URANUS model also complies with French safety decree issued on 3 September, 2004
